Royal Tour...Kate Middleton's wedding gown on display! High heels give migraines?

With a lot of fanfare, Buckingham Palace threw open the ornate gates of the Queen's stately estate in London, so that gushing fans of the Duchess of Cambridge could take an up-close gander at her celebrated wedding gown designed by the legendary fashion house of Alexander McQueen.

In addition, lookie-loos will be treated to exhibits of Kate Middleton's glittering tiara, exquisite earrings, and the Royal slippers - er - chic designer shoes (in size eight).

The white-laced pumps boast heels 3 to 4 inches high.

I wonder, does her highness get migraines when she's strutting the rarefied air that envelopes her wherever she turns, on the Royal trail?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Undoubtedly, the magnificent frock will elicit  quite a few "oohs" and "ahhs" when fans of the Princess catch sight of the lace flowers sewn into the bodice, the deep vertical pleats that fall gracefully from the waistline to the hem, and the eye-catching elaborate train panels that flowed behind Prince William's bride amidst all the pomp and circumstance back in April.

Palace Officials don't have to fret about whether an adoring public will attend the exhibition during the course of its run July 23rd - October 3rd.

After all, 125,000 tickets have already been sold at $28.00 a pop (U.S.).

In a news clip yesterday, the Queen was caught expressing disappointment on-camera when she first caught sight of the chic romantic gown in its display case.

"Without you in it, it's pretty plain," Queen Elizabeth lamented in so many words.

A dress is a dress is a dress - and doesn't come alive  - until a celebrated beauty like Kate Middleton breathes life (and magic) into it by virtue of her graceful charismatic presence!

An exact replica of the tiered wedding cake is also expected to dazzle tourists and locals alike (especially those with a sweet tooth!).

Of course, the yummy original was gobbled up by guests at the tony reception, after the lovebirds took their vows.

If visitors were wondering if they might bump into the Queen in her housecoat when they're touring the Palace the answer is a definite "no".

The elder Royals are on vacation at the Queen's summer estate in the North during the duration of the open exhibit at Buckingham Palace.

News at 11!
