Had u all ever experience this? Sometimes ppl whom we hope to forget, whom we do not want to remember ever again, ppl whom we hope we can lock dem away from our memories fr den on, will jz creep back into our mind every now n den.

Why do dey still appear in our mind? Why are we still reminded of dem? Why do dey remain in our subconscious even tho we put away everything that reminds us of dem?

What do we do den? Especially at times like dis when we are all alone in our room, tryin to memorize n study, our mind will jz wander to tots of these ppl, the times we spent together, the sweet memories that brought us together and d bitter memories that brought us apart.

We had moved on, got over them and we are pretty happy with our life now generally but sometimes we jz cant shove dem away fr our tots no matter how hard we try. Even the small, tiny weeny details of time we spent together, part of conversations all remain vivid in our memory. We are stuck in a world of tinkin back, yea, we shd snap back to reality n get real, but wat IF, sometimes we like this feeling of being stuck? Or, if we dont n cant snap back, what do we do? Cz sometimes too much reminiscing can cause a sudden sadness enveloping our heart.

Today is the last clinical session of our sem b4 our Yr 1 professional exam and we had a surprised 'visit' fr Dr. Crs. We were supposed to have Dr. Mk as our facilitator but Dr. Crs came in as well. And as usual he was disappointed. From the 1st ques he asked Tur, I'm sure he was disappointed. He asked Tur if she studied and Tur said she read but not studied and he started his usual lecture on how we shd get serious wif our studies, consider properly our choice of studies bla bla bla. Another thing bout Dr. Crs is dat he is very 'pantang' with ppl goin to toilet, yawn, drink water or even stretch in his lecture, class, pbl or clinical session. So, when H went to the toilet, he got more angry on top of his already mounting upsetness and told Dr. Mk not to let H into class anymore. He even said that he noe none of us like him and he is the most hated person around sch. When i heard that, i was wondering how i shd react. Stone. It's not true that i hated him altho he mite not exactly be my fav lecturer around. But neway the brought home lesson for today clinical session is "ALWAYS REFER TO THE HUTCHISON TEXTBOOK"

Today i tried something pretty challenging and new to me. SK brought us ( me, HF, SW, PJ, BS, BT, KY n Kumar ) for mountain trekking at a place known as Batu Sembilan in Kajang. Initially i thought it would be the kind of small hill where we can easily climb to the top of the hill and be able to admire the scenery below.

However, when we reached there, i realised that it is actually a real hill wif tall trees and muddy, steep slopes to overcome. So on empty stomach, we started climbing the hill feeling really excited and energetic hoping to reached the 7th station, which is the uppermost n last station soon.

In the beginning...all still energetic

The trek up the hill became more n more challenging as we goes up the hill as it is very muddy and slippery. We could barely see the sun as the tall trees block out most of the sunlight. The most common insect dat we saw is the fire ant, which is fat n is a very huge ant. There are barely flowers around, mostly mushroom species.

We took a longer route up the hill and by the time everyone got to the 7th station ( yea..we made it after almost 3 hours of climb ), we were pretty breathless, hungry and tired. After the 7th station, we continued for another 45 mins down anode slippery, stepper slope to the waterfall.

Somewhere along the trek after station 7..on the way to the waterfall

My leg is all dirty

After 45 min of hard trekking, we finally reached this waterfall

After 5 hours plus of trekking through the mountain....

So after 5 hours plus of trekking, other than almost covering up most of the mountain area and waterfall, we gained dyspnoea, muscle aches, mosquitoes bites, hunger and palpitation (yea, i can hear my heart beats n feel dem), i felt pretty satisfy with myself for being able to accomplish the whole thing and though im physically reali tired, i dont fl mentally tired at all.

Oh, fortunately we have the guys goin with us..they really helped us alot goin up n down the mountain..realli taking care of us and preventing us from slipping and everythin..Thanks guys! The feeling of gratefulness was unexplainable especially when u r falling n feeling helpless and some1 jz stretch out his hand for u, literally lending a helping hand.

It's certainly good exercise and I think I won't mind going for more next time. :)

I tot this is a very good joke..it got me laughing pretty hard..but it certainly did not happen to us tho!

> First-year students at Med School were
> receiving their first anatomy class
> with a real dead human body. They all
> gathered around the surgery table with
> the body covered with a white sheet.

> The professor started the class by
> telling them, "In medicine, it is
> necessary to have 2 important
> qualities as a doctor. The first is
> that you not be disgusted by anything
> involving the human body."

> For an example, the Professor pulled
> back the sheet, stuck his finger in
> the butt of the corpse, withdrew it
> and stuck his finger in his mouth. "Go
> ahead and do the same thing," he told
> his students. The students freaked
> out, hesitated for several minutes,
> but eventually took turns sticking a

> When everyone had finished, the
> Professor looked at them and told

> finger. Now learn to pay attention."

It's a rainy day today. Just the type of day i love to sleep. If not for our moral presentation this morning, i dont tink i will be able to wake up..haha.. Yea, we, 'The Aristotles' finally did our presentation today. Altho it's only a 15 odd minutes of presentation and some ppl might not appreciate it and think it is not good enough, but we seriously had put in a lot of effort doing it. I'm not boasting but i felt our presentation was realli good. All 6 of us had really tried our best and although some of us had panic attacks the night b4, but i tink they really did well today. At least we were clear and we understood the topic we were presenting. And we tried keeping our slides concise and short so that the audience focus will be on us, on wat we are talking about rather than staring at the slides onli. On top of dat, our topic is on bioethics comprising of human cloning and stem cell research so obviously we have quite a lot of scientific terms. I tink he really was on purpose and especially pick on us, commenting about us looking 'out-of-sort' and not smiling and being too scientific (we were jz being professional..cant expect us to be giggling throughout presentation rite?n out of sort?hello?i tink we were compose) And he ask us so many questions that mostly were not related to our topic but he did not even ask other groups dat much ques, nor comment on dem as nasty he did to us (i tink he is biased against us..we shall noe soon y). So, to all my dearest Aristotles, i tink we all had done our best! And we were the best for today and happy working with you guys..hehe. ;)

*Ladies in black..The Aristotles*

Neway i'm so happy that we do not have classes for the whole of tomorrow. Since we got no classes, bout 12 of us went for steamboat at Sunway for dinner jz now..all the way to Sunway..haha..This whole week is supposedly a very heavy week for me cz i have so much to study for assessment. I wonder how can i fin Rao's respiratory physio of over 90 pages of sheerwood on top of aishah hyperlipidemia by fri. And also 16 topics for pbl on thurs..Arghh!

Our uni organized a speed typing competiton lately. Even Dr. Sunda took part and managed to make it to the quarter finals..haha..he may not b exactly the fastest typer, but he certainly aim for zero error.

Our uni organized another trip to the National Kidney Foundation centre today. The week b4 cny, grp A members had went. So, today it was our turn. We listened to an intro by Dr. Shanker, one of the committee member of the NKF and he gave us a general intro about NKF. We also went to visit the dialysis patients. However, there's only about 10 dialysis machines. The centre will soon be moved to a bigger area to accommodate the increasing number of patients. We were only allowed about 5 min in the dialysis room in small groups of 5 as renal failure patients are immuno compromise. We were also given a booklet and a small cute kidney shape collarpin as souvenir dat grp A did not received last week..haha.. All in all, I added anode experience to my life today.

We with Dr. Shanker (2nd fr right back row)

Love is in the air~~

Happy Valentine's Day to all lovey dovey couple n all pretty, happy single's..

As for me, tonight there's no fancy dinner, dress up or going out with a debonair and tall hunk..Instead my date for this valentine is absolutely one of the most brain taxing, need big memory storage and exist in micro alphabets. It is just me, myself and my moral notes! Sounds pathetic? haha...well can't help it since i had my moral mid term exam 2moro..

Dont belittle dis notes..the philosophies takes time to be digested and i have to finish all in one night..

But nonetheless i got some pretty flowers and chocolates from my frenz to acc me thru dis Valentine...

This cute lil doggy and chocolates is from our very sweet 'pet'..hehe..OJ is sweet enuf to treat everyone chocolates

Call me biased, but i like pink flowers better..haha

Pink and red roses thanks to AJ

Well, actually to all busy couples, it's ok if u can't go out on valentine day..As long as u all are sweet and loving and chummy throughout the year, everyday is Valentine's day =)

Sunday, February 11, 2007

I went wif Kuria, Kat, EY, the two JW's, BS, BT and KK to YMCA to help out at the Valentine Tea Party organized by them for the less privileged kids. We had a whole afternoon of fun and games. I hope the kids really enjoyed themselves and had a good time just as I had seeing the happy faces of the kids. All the kids are really cute. :)

This whole weekend i had been doing one of the stuff i really enjoy..... SHOPPING!!

Actually thought of adding more clothes for the cny, but end up buyin more formal wears instead. I tink nowadays, i kinda hv this obsession to shop for formal clothes (for classes) more than those casual wear..perhaps it is because of the need to wear formal clothes every single day..5 days a week at least.

I went with MS, Kat and Liyana to Espirit yesterday. And these are wat i got from there :

A sort of formal top, pants and belt

And that's not all. More shopping steals from Mid Val today. :)

Bodyglove also gives away red packets

After finding for a long time...I finally bought this pair of boot

I love this bag too

Along with my Puma bag, actually came a tag dat says 'suitable for' :

i) standing at a bus stop
ii) a fun night out
iii) serious sporting use
iv) meetin an ex for tea
v) some light gardening
vi) whatever

I just tot the last bit of 'some light gardening' hilarious..haha..

I really enjoyed shopping and am very happy to add all those to my collection but....

there is quite a deep hole in my pocket now!!! haha...i cant believe i spent so much in just 2days..hicks! Gotta start saving money again for more shopping trips next time :p
