If you channel surf, you've probably caught news clips of Ethan Bortnick wowing audiences around North America with his remarkable musical gift.
In fact, on one high-profile entertainment show, the virtuoso pianist was given the ultimate test.
The host struck three keys on the piano, at which point, Bortnick was invited to - not only repeat the three notes on the pretty ivories - but piece together a composition on-the-fly spontaneously as well.
The young whiz whipped up a stunning composition which literally dazzled the audience and viewers at home.
Notwithstanding his obvious genius, the talented pianist is incredibly grounded, too.
The cute lad is down-to-earth, intelligent, and blessed with a keen sense of humor (at age 12?).
For example, when Bortnick was quizzed about his goals in life, he didn't hesitate a beat.
"To be humble," he beamed.
Then, after a moment of reflection, he elaborated on his initial response.
"And, to have fun!"
Indeed.
