Because I am a former Literary Agent (who once-represented screenwriters in Hollywod at a SAG franchised agency) I perk up whenever I spy a notice for a script-writing competition.
On my recent trip to Vegas, it came to my attention that the Nevada Film Office is inviting writers to submit their polished scripts for consideration.
The criteria are as follows
* 75 % of the locations must be shootable in Nevada
* Script must be industry-standard for a full-length feature
* Open to unsold writers only
Deadline for Submissions
May 1st through August 31st (2010)
