A gift from local philanthropists - Eva and Marc Stern - has inspired Board Members at the Walt Disney Concert Hall - to bestow an honor on the generous couple.
The second-floor Pavilion - situated in Frank Gehry’s architectural gem in Los Angeles - will now be known as the:
“Eva and Marc Stern Grand Hall"
According to insiders, the Stern offering - which prompted Concert Hall guardians to sit up and take notice - amounted to the second-largest cumulative donation to the downtown Arts venue since the one gifted by the Walt Disney family many moons ago.
Marc Stern (TCW Group) is Board Chairman of the Los Angeles Opera and an active member of the Music Center Board of Directors.
Eva Stern also boasts membership on the Boards of the Center Theatre Group, the Broad Stage, and the Blue Ribbon of the Music Center.
Kudos to Eva and Marc Stern for their unfailing contribution to the Arts.
