Sex symbol - Kim Novak - has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
However, in the wake of the announcement, doctors stressed that her prospects for recovery are quite good because the cancer was caught early.
Ms. Novak - one of Hitchcock's favorite actresses (who starred in the classic thriller Vertigo) - is 77 years young.
