When long-lost relatives appear out of the woodwork, it may be for one of two reasons.
After hearing about your success - they've decided to either look 'ya up to secure a hand-out - or are dutifully calling to inform you about news of a death.
Needless to say, it may be wise to nip the overture in the bud.
Don’t return the phone call or - in the event the communication is by e-mail - mark it spam.
Whichever the case may be!
On the other hand, if it’s about an inheritance, welcome them graciously into your home pronto!
