San Francisco...military to ride free on BART! $50,000 earmarked for project...

Bart officials announced this week that they have earmarked $50,000.00 in their budget so that military personnel on leave from Iraq and Afghanistan may go on tour about the city on the underground trains for free.

Not surprisingly, San Francisco's public transportation system is the first of its kind to take such thoughtful measures to make life a little easier for the servicemen, who fight the good fight daily in the name of Democracy and freedom.

Can other cities be far behind?
