Conan bowed out because of NBC fiasco!
At the screening of "Life of Brian" the other evening at the Castro Theatre, Terry Jones (Monty Python) treated the die-hard film buffs to a rare clip once broadcast years ago on British TV.

The double-bill (Monty Python & Life of Brian) was presented under the auspices of the annual Sketchfest in San Francisco.
By the way, during an introduction to "Life of Brian", Jones confessed that he was a little anxious when he learned later that Beatle George Harrison mortgaged his house to the hilt to rustle up the financing.
