Simon brings new expression to the term dead-pan!
Boy, I'm good!
Just this morning, when I posted an article on American Idol's new season to start up tomorrow in Boston, I mentioned in passing that it was rumored that Simon Cowell would be bowing out of the Fox hit which has brought the Brit notorious celebrity and big bucks!

Later today, Fox Executives announced that the tabloid-style network - which viewers love to hate and toss nasty barbs at - will be parting ways with the feisty Cowell.
But, Cowell does not shuffle off empty-handed.
"The X Factor," a show he created (which has been a hit in Britain) will join Fox's schedule next year.
Cowell will nurse that baby into the ratings game from the get-go.
In response to queries from the Press, Cowell stated for the record that it would have been difficult for him to do both shows.
The official announcement was made in Pasadena early today at a meeting of the Television Critics Association
Peter Price (Fox Chairman) was reluctant to discuss potential replacements for Cowell at press time.
Memories light the corners of our minds!
