Adam Lambert...multi-tracked gutsy release! Foothold on solid musical ground...

Vinyl Boy or Goth wannabee?

The big brouhaha a few months ago over Adam Lambert's musical musings (and management entanglements) which threatened to beckon a fall from Grace with fans because of it - was all for nothing.

In spite of the blood feud and the nasty airing of dirty laundry with handlers and record execs in public - "American Idol" Pop Icon "Adam Lambert" - has managed to wing his glorious way out of the quagmire and into a heart-pumping musical awakening, of sorts.

And, tough critics are handing out kudos, too.

At the MTV web site, young hottie contemporaries articulated their sensory overload with reviews that ranged from one end of the rainbow spectrum to the other (cool, lukewarm, ecstatic).

"A lot of explosions. And graphics. So, I liked that," one dude ranted.

Yeah, but what about the pretty songbird and his chirping?

"His personality came out, definitely," another gushed.

"Video didn't match the song. So, it didn't go right at all," a stylish fashionista quipped a sec later.

And, then, there was this hilarious little ditty.

"The whole fire &  brimstone thing is so overdone. So, it was kinda lame," one pretty teen offered up in so many words (with a slight grimmace on her blemish-free skin).

Ouch!

Betcha she wouldn't kick Lambert out of bed for eating crackers, though.

But, the dude next to him?

In the frenetic video - shot for the big-budget feature 2012 - Lambert belts out an ear-splitting tune sure to appeal to the ultra-chic Goth & Vamp set.

Lambert strutted and mugged - and delighted Idol "lovers" - who lapped it all up when the over-the-top tune made its ceremonious entrance online amidst a lot of fanfare earlier this week.

Die-hard fans may spring for a keepsake at Amazon and iTunes with cash, credit card, or paypal in hand.
