Surprise!
The Olympic committee for the 2012 games in London (England) has decided to go Hollywood!
It was announced that "Slumdog Millionaire" Director Danny Boyle has been hired on as Artistic Director to work alongside Executive Producer Stephen Daldry to orchestrate the high-profile event.
Last year, I was blessed with the opportunity to interview Mr. Boyle on the red carpet, for the world premiere screening of "Slumdog".

Daldry is no slouch in the talent department, either.
The top-notch director has helmed three hits - Billy Elliott, The Reader, and The Hours - to name a few.
Boyle excitedly gushed to media outlets that it was a fantastic responsibilty.
