Controversial epdisodes of "The Boondocks" - rife with the "N" word and other naughty bill-of-fare - are being offered up a $2.99 a shot on iTunes once the notorious cartoon kicks into full-swing its 3rd season on Adult Swim (Cartoon Network).
In a novel approach, the producers are also selling season "passes" for $37.99 which grant die-hard fans access throughout the run.
The controversial show was a ratings phenomenon.
The 1st season opener generated the highest ratings for any other "Adult Swim" production over the course of a 12-month period.
2.5 million viewers tuned in to catch the episode titled:
"It's a Black President, Huey Freeman"
On average, an online audience - approximately 197,000 per episode - continues to propel "Boondocks" into the forefront of Pop Culture.
In fact, a handful of topics have triggered trending frenzies on Twitter time and time again.
Boondocks usually beats out the competition in its 11:30 time slot on Sunday evenings hands down!
