Birds do it...mating maneuvers? Mother nature fascinates...
Yesterday, I spied two delightful little birds (Starlings, perhaps?) engaging in highly intriguing activity a stone's throw away from my SUV.
Their ritual perplexed (and amazed) me!
I was first drawn to the little darlings after sporatic outbursts in the trees nabbed my attention.
Upon closer inspection, I caught sight of one of the birds hopping on the back of the other - at which point - both chirped excitedly as the wings of the feathered friend on top fluttered up-and-down.
Isn't it too late in the year to be mating?
Even so, though, they appeared to be fu**ing!
My presence didn't appear to bother them in the least.
Voyeurs!
