Popular teen beauty - Miley Cyrus - will be alighting in Los Angeles and holding court at a book signing for her new tome "Miles to Go" on Saturday at high noon at Barnes & Noble at the Grove location. (March 7th)
According to handlers, a limited number of wristbands will be distributed to fans, to avoid a frenzied crush!
Starting on Friday, March 6th, the coveted gate-crashing bracelets will be passed out on a first-come first-serve basis.
One catch, though.
Die-hard fans will have to fork over some hard cash for a copy of her new book - "Miles to Go" - to be eligible to stand in a line that will no doubt snake down the courtyard through a hysterical throng of wild-eyed adoring teens.
Ms. Cyrus has been instructed not to affix her Joan Henry to any other books, CDs, DVDs, or memorabilia.
Ah, shucks!
Cyrus's career sky-rocketed with the debut of Disney's - "Hannah Montana" - in which she plays Miley Stewart (aka Hannah Montana, pop chanteuse) - in a role which eerily mirrored her own life.
After her first appearance on the top-rated show, the likable young teen became an overnight sensation.
A CD released a short time later on a major label - featuring eight catchy tunes she performed on "Hannah Montana" - soared on the pop charts for weeks-on-end.
Cyrus's solo music career began with the release of her debut album:
"Meet Miley Cyrus"
Her second album, "Breakout", was also a big hit.
"Breakout" was Cyrus's first album that washed its hands of the Hannah Montana franchise.
One of her solo efforts debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
"I Thought I Lost You" - which was recorded for the soundtrack of "Bolt" - also landed her a much-coveted Golden Globe nomination.
Amid this flurry of dizzying pop culture expression, the media stood up and took notice, too.
Ms. Cyrus (the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus) was listed as one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2008.
Her earnings are the envy of many.
When Forbes magazine published a list of 100 Celebrities to establish who had pulled down over $25 million in 2008, Ms. Cyrus was ranked at the No. 35 slot.
In recent months, the perky beauty has been allegedly dating underwear model, Justin Gaston.
It appears that the handsome couple are taking it slow.
Sensible gal!
Miley's hottie!
