Wilson Phillips...Multi-Platinum trio appear @ Cannery tonight! Vegas live show!

On the heels of their surging pop hit success - "Hold On" the Wilson Phillips band (known as the Multi-Platinum Trio) are slated to appear tonight at the Cannery in Las Vegas!

The three fresh-faced beauties who make up the trio of hot performers (the offspring of a couple of well-known musical greats Michelle Phillips & Brian Wilson) were ecstatic about the much-ballyhooed gig when they appeared in person on a local talk show in Las Vegas yesterday.

Ever since their previous single originally released years ago was featured recently in the comedy feature - Bridesmaids - they talented gals been basking in the glow of the spotlight.

And, the catchy light-hearted tune has increased 620 % in sales!

"If we had known it was going to be such a great success, we would have recorded a remix," one of the pretty songbirds gushed to the host of the popular Entertainment show.

The group is comprised of

Carnie Wilson

Carnie is the daughter of Beach Boy founder Brian Wilson.

In addition to singing and songwriting, Wilson’s has dabbled in acting and been on Television in the capacity of a host.

Chynna Phillips

The pretty young  lady is the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and Papas. She began her career in acting with performances in Some Kind of Wonderful, Caddyshack II, and Say Anything.

Wendy Wilson

Wendy is also the daughter of Beach Boy founder Brian Wilson. She and sister Carnie released the CD - “Hey, Santa!” - which is a beautiful collection of classic and original Christmas songs.

Wilson also performed in the Beach Boys Family and Friends tour for 3 years.

Apparently, Michelle Phillips is expected to attend their performance tonight which kicks off at 8:30 p.m.

"Michelle might get up on stage, who knows!"

Back in the seventies, Dennis Wilson was a friend of mine.

I expect that today -were he alive (he passed to spirit years ago after a drowning incident) - he would be very proud of the Wilson and Phillips offspring.

The Wilson Phillips band is going on tour, by the way.

No, the film cameo did not trigger that road trip, since it was in the planning stages already.

If you can't make the Cannery show tonight, then, keep you eye out for their appearance soon in your town in the near future, eh?

Break a leg, girls!
