Lady Gaga...sex not a fruit of labor! Vanity Fair article on Art & Abstinence!

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair (published in tandem with a visual lay-out which is allegedly a sexy visual shocker) Lady GaGa confided to an interviewer that she is perpetually lonely.

The fact that she admits it is more surprising that the reality of the sad scenario.

It's a classic Hollywood story.

A beautiful blond bombshell can't get a date though lusted after by studly males all around the planet (Marilyn Monroe, for instance), the handsome screen idol adored by millions of voluptuous women turns out to be gay (or a cross-dresser), you name it.

And, problems of another compelling nature often befall a celebrity.

Route 66 star (and friend) George Maharis confided in me once - that on occasion when he slipped between the sheets with a date - the individual was unable to perform sexually.

"I was kinda like a ride at the local faire. Too much of an adrenalin rush to handle," he chuckled.

Lady Gaga is like a "showy" piece of art - not difficult to appreciate (or gawk at)  - but tough to emulate.

So, fans have placed the Pop Diva on a pedestal to be gazed  upon from afar.

No wonder she's crying the blues.

As Mick Jagger once crooned:

"I can't get no satisfaction".

In  the final analysis?

Artists are birds of a different feather.

So, don't waste your time on those losers, Lady Gaga.

Being an artist, I understand the tight rope that innovative performers like Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga balance daily.

Depending on the field of artistic endeavour, it is not always possible to "create" the art - and mingle with the adoring masses thereafter - either.

Mystique is a part of it.

Once fans get a peak at the regular side of an artist's persona, they may turn on their topsy-turvy heels - bored - and post haste seek out the new flavor of the month.

Anyone recall the cautionally tale about the "Wizard of Oz"?

For years, when I was deeply involved with my painting (abstract-expressionism) I was quite content to be in my studio alone - stretching canvases, experimenting with pigments, whipping up creations.

But, it did not escape my attention that when I sauntered out the door - and basked in the glow of success - that my "creativity" tended to wane (and wander) snf fall off in potency.

What it boils down to is the nature of the creative energy.

In the Vanity Fair interview, for example, Lady Gaga asserted that if she doesn't remian chaste she may lose her creativity altogether.

Undoubtedly, she's mistakenly taken a cue from a handful of horn-dog athletes at club houses around the country, who she's been scandalously chasing.

It is a fairly well-known fact that ball-players and boxers - and the like - often refrain from sex the night before a big game or match in the ring.

Why?

So they can give it their "all", so to speak, during the competition.

Words of advice for Lady Gaga gleaned from my own experience?

A night of great sex often begets an exquisite painting.

Likewise, a moment of great suffering may result in a heartfelt piece of writing that may inspire our youth for generations.

I have often joked over the years that some of my best creations equate to a truckload of great orgasms.

A conventional attempt to draw on inspiration (that is too cerebral) can not compare to a spontaneous one that springs up from an unexpected surge of sexual or erotic energy unleashed in a heaven-sent ecstatic moment.

Holding back, and abstaining - for the sake of one's art (!) - smacks of a ploy devised by the Head Nun to keep nubile young virgins from straying too close to Julio down by the school yard unchapheroned.

Lady Gaga wasn't far off when she perceived herself as a fountain of creativity, though.

Indeed, she's a source of energy for the "vampires" to feast off.

Uh-huh.

Fans and "little monsters" are drawn to Lady Gaga like moth to flame!

But, the innermost heartbeat of the artist - must be shielded and protected at all cost - along with the artistic thoughts and ideas that make an individual the unique and special artiste that they were born onto this mortal coil to be.

As to  sex?

At age 24, rejoice, and splash in it with gay abandon!
