Gruesome photos purporting to be Osama circulating Internet
Amidst a swirl of controversy (and cries of foul play) - and as gathering conspiracy theories run rampant and flourish at breakneck speed across the Internet - Officials in Washington have announced that the U.S. Government may release a gruesome photo of Osama bin laden with the specific aim of quashing the doubts of U.S. Citizens who are now under the impression that Osama bin Laden's burial at sea was all an elaborate cover-up - a hoax - in fact.
Sources at the White House have warned in advance - that alleged documented evidence about to be released to satisfy the demands of the American people - may literally turn stomachs in view of the fact the known terrorist was allegedly felled by a fatal gunshot wound above one eye.
To many, citing that reason as grounds to withhold the photographs, is a hollow flimsy excuse.
In retrospect, it appears that the White House's prior decision to bury Public Enemy # 1 at sea - was a misstep - which has ended up damaging President Barack Obama's credibility on the threshold of a bid for a second term in the corridors of power on the hill in Washington.
In response to queries from Good Morning America, Condoleezza Rice appeared before the cameras bright-and-early this morning in a bold-faced effort to ease the concerns of Americans around the country.
"There is no reason to doubt that he is dead," Ms. Rice stated matter-of-fact as a disbelieving Nation gazed on from their armchairs at home.this morning.
Is she kidding?
The White House has a history of distorting and disguising the truth, after all.
For example, on the grounds that Saddam Hussein was hunkered down with weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the go-ahead was given to attack his compound and murder the unpopular dictator.
Former President George Bush actually spouted off that lie on International news broadcasts with an emotionless straight face without guilt or shame.
Until President Barack Obama delivers up proof that the corpse buried at sea was - and is indeed that of the former Al Qaeda leader - a doubting voter block will proceed to rally against the President on the grounds that he has been less-than-truthful to the American people and that such disreputable conduct warrants ousting from political office.
The proof is in the pudding, after all.
Meanwhile, it was also announced over the past twenty-four hours, that the President intends to appear at ground zero on Thursday to meet with individuals who suffered the loss of loved ones in the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City almost a decade ago.
Will protesters be at-the-ready to demand immediate action on the Osama bin Laden front?
