Contrary to a report from the U.S. Government - that Osama's body was buried at sea in accordance with Muslim tradition after passing to spirit within twenty-four hours - and before sunset - a brother of the Al Qaeda leader lamented to at least one news organization tonight that he would have preferred that the remains were turned over immediately to the terrorist's family.
Curious that, eh?
The issue of treating the body with dignity and respect on the heels of the death is one thing, but does the second excuse hold up water?
A spokesperson at the White House vigorously underscored that the action was also taken to prevent the "burial" place from becoming a shrine.
Say what?
In view of the unfolding events, the excuses of President Obama's staff appears to be not only unfounded - but also highly irregular - if not downright suspicious.
