The whole highlighting process is very simple actually. It went something like;
Hairdresser : Hello
Me : Hello
Hairdresser : So what colour do u want to highlight?
Me : Something daring?haha
Hairdresser : What about bright green or blue or golden or…? *grinning*
I'm not exactly keen on the normal brown or blonde or any colours associated with brown because that's how my hair naturally is anyway and too striking brown looks kinda like dry grass to me. On top of dat, my mum eyes were telling me it’s a no-no.
So the contents of the dying tube, the developer and the color crème were mixed and the whole highlighting process begins. Finally after few hours of waiting (I was kept entertained by the hairdresser conversation with me and reading mags), lo and behold…my new haircolour in my new hairstyle.

Yeap..I got my hair highlighted RED! Even though red is not exactly the allowed colour for medical students in my uni but I'm absolutely loving the new hair color because I think red suits me well. I mean I think I look kinda fairer with red hair. hehe! The hairdresser was wondering if I felt pity to cut off my long hair, but no, hairs do grow. So in no time I will have long hair again. For now, I’m pretty satisfied with my new hairstyle and colour.:)
