Lady Gaga..."Judas" confession leaked on web! Sure to be a bullet rife with controversy!

With Easter upon us and Lady Gaga's latest single "Judas" about to be released world-wide on April 19th - a controversy is sure to erupt - in the aftermath.

Well - in the Western World - for starters!

Will the Vatican denounce the Pop Diva - who just may be a nice little Catholic girl under all the pushed-up bras, net stockings, and frenzied hoopla and hype - once the accompanying Video rocks the airwaves later in the week?

Not surprisingly, "Judas" has already made its way onto the web, just shy of  the official release.

A ploy by "L" to rev up buzz - or just an honest-to-goodness case of Internet pirating by enterprising monsters out to push their Pop Diva into the stratosphere - and roaring glare of the spotlight once again just in time for a change of season?

As we used to say in the "old" days, spring time is our time, eh?

At press time, Interscope Records hasn't uttered a peep in response.

However, the Diva's throaty vocals, say it all.

"Ohhh, I'm in love with Judas," she gushes on the track, which is accompanied by building synths.

Soon a thumping electronic beat kicks in as Gaga sings:

"Judahhh/ Juda-a-ah/ Gaga."

The signature bump and grind is reminiscent of "Bad Romance."

Meanwhile, MTV spouts that "Judas" is simply Gaga’s version of the Bible.

A confession?

"Let the cultural baptism begin," Gaga giggle recently in a Video release at Gagavision.

"If they were not who you were taught they would be, would you still believe?"

As the Emperor would say in "Amadeus".

"There you have it, then!"

Amen!

Barack Obama...National I.D. card mark of the beast? Arizona law pales by comparison...

You've got to scrape that sh** off your shoes!
(Rolling Stones)

When Arizona signed into law its controversial Immigrantion Reform Bill, illegal immigrant supporters  were up-in-arms - and swore  up-and-down - that they would fight the controversial measure on the grounds that it was not only unconstitutional but might lead to racial profiling.

Surprisingly, one of the most vocal opponents, turned out to be President Barack Obama.

The Commander-in-Chief - with a murky birthright himself - proceeded to hog the podium and grandstand on the media airwaves across the Nation - vowing to curb the legislation on the grounds that it was not only intruding on the stomping grounds of the Federal Government - but intrinsically - was not what "America" was all about.

A gentler kindler nation?

Me thinks, the man doth protesteth too much!

If the truth be known, Barack Obama wasn’t necessarily angered - first and foremost - by the Immigration Reform Bill on its face in its bold-faced efforts to curb illegal immigration.

If ‘ya ask me, Obama was miffed because Arizona jumped the gun, and beat him to the punch.

I have suspicions that Obama has been toying with the idea of introducing the National I.D. card since he first took office.

If you recall, because the whole “concept” smacks of an Orwellian-style (1984) police state, there has been a lot of resistance to implementation.

Like any other proposal, Barack Obama was silently orchestrating things in the background - getting all his chicks in a row, so-to-speak - when the Arizona Reform bill was signed into law.

Suddenly, Barack Obama - though, not entirely ready to pitch it - was forced to reveal his plans for the controversial uniform National Identity card.

Some have cried out in protest that a police officer asking a resident for their "papers” amounted to an echo from the past which dredged up horrific images of the terrors of Nazi Germany in World War II.

Hogwash!

The National I.D. card is a much more ominous sign of the injustices to come if we’re to take a nod from a Biblical perspective.

In my estimation, the National I.D. card smacks of the mark of the beast.

Say what?

The Anti-Christ, of course!

In the scriptures, the Book of Revelations sets forth a host of  prophecies, which leave little doubt that Obama’s scheme for America (and eventually the globe) would be much more oppressive (and - ultimately - end the concept of freedom as we know it today).

Revelations 13:16 - 13:18

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads."
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (666)."

So, which is worse?

A Nazi-style request for papers or the mark of the beast?

I'd prefer to show my papers, thank you very much!

Book of Revelations...4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

This evening I thought my thoughts - as I listened to my favorite piece of classical music - Handel's Messiah.

At one point, I recalled that just before I embarked on my journey to San Francisco, I did something I rarely ever do.

I took the paper money out of my wallet (a fine mess of presidential faces turned this way 'n that) and counted  it.

I froze on the spot.

The total?

$666.00

"Oh, gosh," there must be some meaning in that, I thought to myself.

Barely a day passes without some sign or omen descending from the heavens.

Of course, my immediate focus turned to the beast, the anti-christ.

But, what did it  mean?

Unfortunately, the answer - not even a hint of one - remained elusive that day.

Tonight, as I sat in the dark listening to the uplifting strains of Handel's composition, it suddenly hit me like a bolt of lightning.

The message of the 666 omen (by virtue of the cash in my billfold) was crystal clear.

Money is the root of all evil.

A remarkable notion swept over me.

If only we could pool the resources of the world - spread the wealth - feed, clothe and house the needy!

The hour is upon us.

The prophecies of the Book of Revelations are unfolding.

And, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, are riding in the distance just off the  horizon.

The signs are all around us.

But, it's so obvious, we are blinded by the light of reality.

Consider the following translation @  Daniel 9:27 in the Holy Bible.

"The Antichrist (the beast) will come into power and sign a covenant (with Israel, some say) for seven years."

This seven-year period of time is known as the “tribulation.”

"During the tribulation, there will be terrible wars, famines, plagues, and natural disasters."

God will  pour out His wrath against sin, evil, and wickedness.

The tribulation includes the appearance of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and 7 trumpets sounding as 7 seals are cracked open.

The first horseman of the Apocalypse is mentioned in Revelation 6:2:

“I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.”

This first horseman refers to the Antichrist who will be given authority and will conquer all who oppose him.

The antichrist is the false imitator of the true Christ who will also return on a white horse (Revelation 19:11-16).

The second horseman of the Apocalypse appears in Revelation 6:4:

“Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.”

The second horseman refers to terrible warfare that will break out in the end times.

The third horseman is described in Revelation 6:5-6:

“And there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand."

Then he heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures saying:

"A quart of wheat for a day's wages  and three quarts of barley for a day's wages and do not damage the oil and the wine!’”

The third horseman of the Apocalypse refers to a great famine that will take place.

The fourth horseman is mentioned in Revelation 6:8:

“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.”

The fourth horseman of the Apocalypse is symbolic of death and devastation.

The four horsemen are “precursors” of worse judgments that come later in the tribulation. (Revelation chapters 8–9 & 16).

I pray for peace, perfect peace!

All Saints' Church...announces new Rector at Beverly Hills house of prayer!

Who knows!
(I may be featured in this choir photo)

The Vestry has announced that the Reverend Canon Stephen Huber (National Cathedral in Washington) has accepted the unanimous call to be the 7th Rector of All Saints' Church in Beverly Hills.

A couple of years ago, I was fortunate to realize a dream to sing in a choir, when I attended service at All Saints'.

During that time frame, Carol Anderson was in service to the Episcopal Church in the role that Huber has stepped into.

The Reverend grew up in a large Catholic family in Ohio and attended Catholic schools from first grade all the way through graduate school at Loyola University in New Orleans.

The dedicated Church-goer spent ten years teaching theology and working in development at private schools before transitioning into inspiring full-time development work as an A.I.D.S. fundraiser for such organizations as the Fenway Community Health Center (Boston) and the Human Rights Campaign Fund in Washington (D.C.).

Huber attended seminary at Yale University and obtained his Master of Divinity (!) in 1998.

For a short duration Steve filled the role of Development & Communications Director at Yale's Berkley Divinity School.

There were many other career developments under the auspices of the fold in the years that followed.

But, it was a post at the Washington National Cathedral (to build a Cathedral Congregation) that was probably the most challenging and rewarding for the Priest.

Using his impressive leadership skills, Huber proceeded to focus on education, pastoral care, stewardship, communications, and hospitality ministries for the congregation which now numbers 700.

Church officials describe Huber as a "spirit-filled" preacher and loving pastor with an open heart and wonderful manner who is  ready to lead All Saints' Church in the work of the Kingdom of God.

In an essay he wrote in respect to his calling, Rev. Huber eloquently wrote:

"I understand my primary vocation as inviting people into a new or deepened relationship with Jesus Christ."

"All Saints' Church is a model to the whole Church of an intellectually coherent expansive Christian faith that is unabashedly grounded in discipleship of Jesus Christ. I find that enormously exciting."

In accepting the post he closed an open letter to the parish by quoting mystic Meister Eckhart:

"If the only prayer you say in your whole life is thank you, that would suffice."

Amen!

Shepherds...abiding over their sheep in the field! Glory to God in the highest (Luke 2:18)

And, there were in the same countr shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the Angel of the Lord came upon them and the glory of the Lord shone round about them.

And, they were sore afraid.

And, the Angel said unto them:

"Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be unto all people."

"For unto you is born this day in the City of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

"And, this shall be a sign unto you."

"Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger."

And, suddenly, there was with the Angel a multitude of heavenly hosts praising God and saying:

"Glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace, and good will toward men."

Barack Obama...2nd Oath-taking episode stupid!

Barack, never trust a wrinkly old white dude to get it right

If the incident over the "Oath of Office" is any indication of what is to come in the new administration, God help us!

Yesterday, when Justice Roberts was administering the "Oath", he inadvertently uttered the word "faithfully" out of sequence.

When the gaff rang out in the hushed hall, Mr. Obama hesitated for a moment before proceeding to follow Roberts' cue.

There was much speculation during the course of the day that the new President was keenly aware that the phrasing was incorrect - but out of respect for Justice Roberts - chose to recite the words "his" way.

Later, Obama was dogged by foes on the issue, in spite of his kindness.

On the heels of the snafu, there was wild speculation that in view of the botched proceeding, Obama's Presidency was not legit

What a load of hogwash!

It is the intent of the words in the "Oath of Office", that is of paramount importance, not how they are phrased or set forth in a ceremony.

Notwithstanding, Obama and his gang of young tax cheats and foundation-funding thieves, sprang into action and arranged for a second shot at the brass ring.

The first one was just a dress rehearsal, 'ya see?

High-powered lawyers were in accord with the idea of a repeat performance, too.

Understandably.

Crossing the "t's" and dotting the "i's" is a big bucks industry!

But, as luck (or fate) would have it, the second take was not without fault either.

All the President's brilliant young foils forgot to proffer up a Bible for Obama to swear on.

Although White House staff pooh-poohed the notion that Obama has yet to get it "right", the oversight is quite telling, isn't it?

In the final analysis, are the "Oaths of Office" taken by Barack Hussein Obama, binding in the eyes of God?

I find it ironic that the word "faithfully" was what tripped up Obama and is at the center of the controversy.

A Freudian slip, of sorts?

Yes, the little snafu hammers home a point.

Will the 44th President be faithful to "the people"?

Months from now, when voters get disillusioned and grumble about this 'n that (as they undoubtedly will, such is the nature of the beast) a handful will look back to that dark day yesterday and muse.

Was it an omen of what was to come?

Nancy Gibbs once said:

"For the truly faithful, no miracle is necessary. For those who doubt, no miracle is sufficient."
