Heidi Klum...shops activewear from bed! I'll be right over with muffins...

In an ironic twist - Heidi Klum is introducing an activewear line that fashion conscious gals can order on their laptops - from the comfy confines of their bed!

Talk about defeating the purpose, Heidi!

You'd think that if the bodacious babe was the least bit interested in being "active" she'd toss on some threads and window shop on the street at least!

Actually, the flawless beauty notes that she designed the line with busy on-the-go women in mind.

The collection - "New Balance" - puts the big spotlight on tunics, knits, woven tops, and leggings.

In her launch release - Klum's offerings are due out October 7th - she notes that she was inspired to introduce her activewear on Amazon because women (in her own words) have changed the way they shop.

What, no coffee klatches with the girls, after a tough day of scouring the racks in mid-Manhattan Sex-in-the-City Style?

Nope.

Henceforth, Ms. Klum will be browsing the thumbnail images online for goodies while propped up on a big fluffy pillow.

Heidi, do 'ya mind if I cruise by for a bit of fall shopping?

Coffee is on you.

I'll supply the hugs!

TMZ...Harvey Levin to vote tea party! Octomom triggers switcherooo...

The glare of the spotlight turned on Harvey Levin tonight on TMZ when the O.J. Simpson afficionado lamented that he was going to go with the Tea Party!

Has the gossip referee on the popular mud fest finally warmed up to the swag-loving Queen of the party - Sarah Palin - or what?

Nope!

When a bit of scuttlebutt over Octomom's pending foreclosure became the subject of a gossip segment  - and some theorized the beleageured mom behind the eight ball might go for a bank loan to get herself out of the financial fix - he was livid.

The government bails out the banks with 1 Trillion Dollars.

Then, she gets a hand out?

"No way," he wailed in so many words.

"I'm going with the tea party," he exclaimed with a smug look of satisfaction on his face.

There must be something pretty potent in Harvey's cup to make his brain so fuzzy, eh?

Maybe he'll sober up in the morning!

Me?

I take a wide berth around the political terrain whenever possible.

In fact, when folks ask me if I am a Democrat or a Republican, I quip:

"I'm Canadian."

I'd rather focus on entertainment news (&  titillating gossip) - and grace my web pages instead - with sizzling hot bodacious babes (like super model Heidi Klum) and studly dudes like Kellam Lutz.

How 'bout you?

Heidi Klum...binging & purging? Top Model still sizzling hot!

A couple of the kids on TMZ attempted to quiz Heidi Klum about her thoughts on the Health Insurance Reform Bill on Rodeo Drive but she wasn't biting.

Well, not on that tidbit.

But, the shapely top Model has no qualms about diving into  crusty cheese-laden piece of sizzling hot pizza as the paparazzi gaze on hungrily.

In fact, it appears that Heidi is inclined to cram all manner of nasty junk foods in her yap without batting a pretty eyelash or worrying about the consequences.

How does she do it?

The top model doesn't struggle with weight gain problems.

That's a given!

Here's the insider scoop straight from the chauffeur's mouth.

Shortly after Heidi strolls by the paparazzi (chowing down with abandon on a mouth-watering piece of chocolate or what-have-you) she slips into the plush back seat of the limo purring at the curb and spits the high-calorie cud into a silver champagne bucket.

No kidding!

Unless, it's done with mirrors.

Inquiring minds want to know!

In addition to swimsuits, Heidi stunning in designer threads, too!

I Get that a lot...CBS reality show filmed at Yogurt Stop! Pump your own in WeHo...

Heidi Klum punks customers on CBS Comedy
"I Get that a Lot"

Yogurt Stop No. 1 Frozen Yogurt
(Los Angeles Magazine/Editors/July)

My charming gal pals at Yogurt Stop in WeHo have a lot to crow about!

Producers from a reality show  - "I get that a lot" - made a pact with the winsome twosome (lovers) to film a segment of the candid-camera-style comedy at the ever-popular dessert outlet in West Hollywood (CA).

The premiere episode first broadcast on CBS on April Fool's Day earlier this year,

The celebrity prank show that will feature name stars performing mundane jobs.

The producers are counting on the unrehearsed (impromptu)  reactions of hapless customers who wander into the hilarious scenario to rustle up a gaggle of belly-laughs.

A clever twist?

The celebs - if caught in the act - will swear up-and-down that they're only amazing look-alike versions of themselves.

Project Runway host Heidi Klum, Dancer Mario Lopez, Newlywed star Jessica Simpson, and songbird LeAnn Rimes all signed on for the tom-foolery (with others expected to hop aboard in the future if the show gains momentum and climbs the ladder to ratings heaven).

In spite of the fact the Yogurt Stop (which I have been touting here) just swung open its doors a scant few months ago, the popular dessert hang-out (where customers pump their own yogurt at whim) has already mustered up a loyal customer fan base.

Yogurt Stop has landed a few plaudits, too.

For example, in the July issue of  Los Angeles Magazine the editors named their scrumptuous all-Natural Frozen Yogurt No.1 in the county.

Congrats, ladies!

The Emmys...60th Annual Awards Show!

This Sunday, the 60th Annual Emmy Awards will be broadcast on ABC.

There are a number of new changes this year, sure to get viewers hopped-up over the Sunday Night extravaganza.

For starters, there will be five co-hosts.

The Academy gets more for their money, I guess!

Heidi Klum will obviously pretty up the stage in a flurry of exotic make-up, elegant jewellery, and designer silks draped about her luscious bod.

Sure to get the hearts pounding at home, at least!

Other celebs throwing in their two cents worth on stage the big night include - metrosexual Tom Bergeron (Dancing with the Stars), actor Jebb Probst (Survivor), ubiquitous TV personality Ryan Seacrest (American Idol), and game-show officiando Howie Mandell (Deal or No Deal).

Among them, they must be able to rustle up a guffaw or two!

In addition, there will be flashes of nostalgia, sure to tear an eye.

For instance, the network is asking that viewers tune in and vote online for the ten best all-time moments from dramas and comedies, in a segment that pays tribute to the medium.

Emmy winners are determined by Judges who watch DVD screeners - and vote in accordance with their perception of excellence - in advance of the telecast.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, The Office, 30 Rock, and Two and a half Men, nabbed slots in the best comedy show category.

For oustanding drama series, the nominees are Boston Legal, Damages, Mad Men, Lost, House, Damages, and Dexter.

Sorry to be impartial, but go Dexter!

Prior to the broadcast, there will be a gaggle of glittering pre-Emmy shows, vying for middle America's undivided attention.

Locally, one of the faves is - "Live from the Emmys" - on KTLA (Channel 5) and capably hosted by Sam Rubin (insightful critic), Jessica Holmes (Canuck Comic), and Laurie Pike (fashion analyst).
