Justin Bieber...Mom says Pop Idol's talents a gift from God!

According to Justin Bieber's Mother, the Pop sensation's meteoric rise to superstardom was no accident.

In this month's issue of Vanity Fair - Justin graces the front cover - the dotting parent attributes the phenomenal success (and launch of the kid's talent into the stratosphere) to Divine Intervention.

Allegedly, Bieb's Mother was floundering around (buoyed down) at one point in her life because of a nasty problem with alcohol and drug addiction.

"One day I met God," she confided to the reporter who penned the insightful feature for the trendy magazine which hit the stands at supermarkets at the tail-end of this week.

It is her sincere belief that the Lord blessed her son with his gifts to share with the world.

Personally, I don't find the notion particularly startling.

A couple of years ago, I experienced a visitation from the Holy Spirit, so I am inclined to believe the woman.

In what amounts to a tell-all interview the Pop Star's Mother fessed up - that from the beginning - she was wary of hiring "yes" men when her son was first began to pursue his music career on YouTube and other high profile social hubs on the Internet.

"I was afraid he'd become a bit of a Diva," she stated matter-of-fact.

Ma'am the kid turned out alright, you betcha!

The publicity still on the first page of the Vanity Fair in-depth chat is a real hoot.

Justin is covered with smooch marks on his face, as a gaggle of girls press up against the window outside, and pine for his undying love (or at least a glance their way, for starters).

The spread is an ultra-slick promotion at its tippy-top best when it comes to the magazine trade!

What's next?

A coveted feature in Fortune 500?

Just maybe, when you consider that the sexy heartthrob was one of the biggest money-makers in the music business this past year.

In fact, the numbers are staggering!

News at 11!

Sarah Palin...Levi Johnston stabs VP hopeful in back & front! Media whore goes for bucks...

Levi unzipped?

Well, Levi Johnston is taking a second shot at his fifteen minutes of fame.

And, like the mythical phoenix (a person or thing of peerless beauty or excellence that has become renewed or restored after suffering calamity) he has risen from the ashes of a torched political campaign to seek his rightful place in the sun.

But, he's a strange hybrid, that Levi.

While Brooke Shields wouldn't let anyone come between her Levis, the virile young dude from the wild Great White North, is ready to bare all of his studly assets (to the highest bidder, of course!).

So far, it's all been a co**  tease!

Unfortuntely, the groundwork has been shakey from the get-go, for the intrepid interloper.

A caller on a local talk show ranted:

"How dare he!"

Of course, the irate Palin fan was scorning Levi for stabbing Sarah Palin in the back (and front, it would also seem) in a fabled tell-all in a recent Vanity Fair interview.

In sum, he's a snake!

"She was the one who put him in the spotlight," she seethed.

No matter.

The so-called allegations caused many to shrug in disbelief anyway.

For starters, the square-jawed turncoat offered up fodder that didn't fall right as rain, if you know what I mean.

Why would Sarah Palin and the 1st Dude bandy about thoughts of divorce while Levi (the wide-eyed boy-child) was idly sitting by scarfing up every delicious morsel?

Another outrageous allegation - the revelation that sky-rocketed the little innocent into the limelight with promises of fame and fortune in more recent days - also didn't hold up from the get-go.

If you recall, Levi tattled to everyone within earshot that when Bristol became pregnant, the Palin's offered to adopt the child when it was born (in secret) so no one would know the ugly truth.

You betcha - thus salvaging - the former ice - um- beauty Queen's political career.

Guess what?

The conversation - according to the calulations of a handful of intelligent folks of the common-sense variety (if we're to ever believe it took place) apparently transpired before the VP slot was ever offered to the Alaskan Governor!

Duh!

Even still, a fashion lay-out in Vanity Fair roped in a handful with a weakness for eye-candy.

In fact, "Unzipped" (a gay rag that plies studly male flesh to horny young dudes around the country)  was the first to jump on the bandwagon and offer up big bucks for candid shots of bare-naked butt and the man-tool the kid's supposed-to-be packing up front.

"Sure, we'd love to have him (?). He's rugged. A man's man," a spokesperson from the skin mag noted in a slightly theatrical tone of voice.

Excuse me!

Bitchiness is a very poor quality in a fella, dude!

Will the media whore bite, though?

Sure, the fashion lay-out was flattering - Levi cut a fine swath in designer threads, in fact - but as one astute pundit laughed.

"How can you take him seriously when he's hanging out with B-lister Kathy Griffin?"

Nuff said!

Media darlings, oy veh!

Miley Cyrus...paper tigress or manipulative temptress extraordinaire? Pornification not a word, folks...

Annie Leibovitz sleazy perception of Miley!

A dude can't even log off for a second or two, slip into a Thai eatery in Westwood for a feast on a serving of mouth-watering Kung Pow Chicken on a mound of white rice, or stroll under a dreamy romantic night-sky without missing a watershed event.

Miley Cyrus suggestively straddled a pole on a Fox Network Stage (not unlike a bitch on the prowl in heat) and in the throes of the scandalous coming-of-age sexual tease - shocked a scorned four million viewers- including a prudish Perez Hilton who screamed at the boob tube "slut".

But, a handful of Hannah Montana fans gave the nubile young Cyrus star the benefit of the doubt.

Oh, she was hanging onto that pole to maintain her balance, of course!

To some, she was simply a classless bump 'n grinder, a stripper with all the wrong moves.

A provocative tease, quipped an amused by-stander.

Fox TV executives - hyper-sensitive to the potential fall-out - anxiously instructed camera-operators to capture the blossoming sexpot above the shoulders to avoid a brewing controversy.

Ah, shades of Elvis.

When his swivelling hips first hit the stage on the Ed Sullivan show, critics yowled.

Church Leaders warned that the "pelvis" would corrupt the youth of American, in one fell swoop.

Miley Cyrus?

A paper tigress or temptress extraordinaire?

Some parent advocates referred to the sensual blow-out on stage last night as a sly attempt at "pornification of the culture".

Say what?

Is pornification actually a word?

Or, just an imagined scenario concocted by puritans, to put a lid on freedom of - um - expression?

A flip through the dictionary confirms it.

No such word in the English language.

Uh-huh!

For starters, hysterical folks wagging their fingers non-stop around the water-cooler during coffee break, shouldn't be tossing the blame solely on the bimbo babe.

Before her, strumpet Bridgett Bardot rocked the sexual mores of the day when she flounced across the silver screen in Lolita, if you recall.

Brooke Shields didn't escape scorn (or the glare of the searing critical spotlight either) when she left little to the imagination in "Pretty Baby" with pretty much nothing on.

Gwen Billings, editor of Cynopsis Kids (a trade publication that covers the beat for children in the entertainment industry) probably said it best when she assessed the tawdry amateurish sexual strut this way.

"I can't imagine something like this (performance) gets all the way to the stage because a teenager says this is something I want to do. Someones got to provide the pole."

It is quite possible the routine started out as a squeaky-clean tribute to Shirley Temple - and her awesome hit "The Good Ship Lollipop" - in wholesome Disney-style.

Somewhere along the line, just betcha, the lollipop was transformed into a pole for some unknown reason (you know how obsessive these musical directors can get) and the cutesy two-step dance number was jazzed up to breathe a bit of pep and zest into it.

The producers exercised a bit of harmless artistic license, that's all.

But, pornification?

Naw.

Bill Clinton...snared by Mayhill Fowler, a sniping senior! LA TIMES, shame!

The LA TIMES hailed Mayhill Flower - an over-the-hill self-proclaimed writer cum sh** disturber - as an outright "media revolution" in the morning paper.

In the tabloid-style piece, James Rainey argued that the so-called roving web "journalist" (I use the term very loosely) had a big one up on pundits and newsies like Tim Russert, Katie Couric and Larry King in recent days because she allegedly won the contest for nabbing the most provocative presidential quotes to date.

Bullsh**!

One of the quotes Mr. Rainey was referring to was an eyebrow raising comment uttered by Clinton - which she caught on video - in response to a question about the upcoming Vanity Fair article in which Todd Purdum disparaged the former president.

When you read the article - and are made privy to the machinations of Ms. Fowler leading up to the event - then it's quite obvious to any fifth-grader that the back-stabbing bottle-blond is "no journalist". In fact, she's not even a cut above an ambulance-chasing attorney, a private dick hiding outside Motels scrambling for the dicey goods on cheating husbands, or even the handful of tabloid writers who invent scintillating tidbits to titillate the nation at supermarket stands each week.

With a bit of gleeful cluck, Ms. Fowler attributed the big "scoop" to persistence, serendipity and the flouting of old rules of mainstream journalism.

Forget about the serendipity, there was nothing the least bit magical about the moment.

As to the flouting and persistence - yup - the two culminated in sleaze-ball conduct that ranks her right up there with the Nixon-era gang who "rat-fu**ed enemies of "dirty dick".

In contrast, she proudly boasts about her own slimy maneuverings.

"Of course, he had no idea I was a journalist," she chirped on the telephone to the reporter who was all ears. (I had no idea either)

"He just thought we were all average ordinary Americans who had come out to see him. And, of course, in one sense, that is what I am."

Whoa, Nellie!

You call an ambushing smut-chaser an average ordinary American?

Not content to let Clinton just twist in the wind in the aftermath she was inclined to stir up the intrigue a bit.

With dime-store-novel flair she confessed to the reporter that originally she intended to slip Bill her business card (Yeah, guess she figured he goes for older tail, too) with the hope of landing an - um - interview.

Darn it all - during a hot flash or something - she dropped the little name plate on the crowded rally floor - so what was Nancy Drew to do?

"I managed a handshake, but my mind went blank," she wistfully recalled of the moment that brought the moth close to flame.

"I missed my moment," she ruefully recalled to Rainey.

Yeah, at that juncture, she must have been just about p**ing her pants.

But, as fate would have it (Rainey himself was quick on the uptake and managed to piece the end scenario together on the fly) "...ever the ebullient retail politician, (Bill) reached out a second time."

Eureka! The Gods were smiling down on her, no doubt!

Now the female primal call for self-preservation was thrown into high gear as she scrambled for a scratch - an itty-bitty scrap of something - to snatch her back from the jaws of oblivion.

Yes - the Vanity Fair accusations that Bill dirtied his legacy by running with unsavory friends and business associates - would do the trick.

The hungry tigress leapt towards her prey.

"Mr. President, what do you think about the hatchet job somebody did on you in Vanity Fair?"

Ironic, in view of the fact she was just about to heave-ho the old axe herself into Bill's back.

When he responded with his infamous comments - "slimy, dishonest" - she videotaped it knowing full-well what she intended to do with the footage as she innocently gazed intently into his eyes.

She's a real piece of work, eh?

Ms. Fowler, sorry to burst your bubble, but -

You're supposed to be reporting the news, not creating it, fool!

No wonder celebrities, politicians and other luminaries in the public eye are wary of the media.

In sum, the premeditated efforts by scumbags like Fowler to launch an assault to assassinate character, underscore that she - and others like her - are nothing short of stalkers and slashers out for a merciless kill.

You're not a journalist, Ms. Fowler, you're a menace to the community at large.

It must be an ugly sight when you look at yourself in the mirror in the morning.

As to the LA TIMES?

Well, they should be ashamed for glorifying such disreputable unethical conduct.

No wonder the daily has lost its luster in recent days.

But, it makes a great liner for the kitty litter box.

Meow!

Bill is irresistible, after all...

Mayhill Fowler..sniping senior snares Bill Clinton. Nasty stuff!
