David Duchovny...lands stint in Off-Broadway play!

Twist of lemon with that?

Fans of David Duchovny will be delighted to hear that the "Californication" star has been slated for a stint in an Off-Broadway production of the "The Break of Noon".

But, there is plenty of time to snap up tickets.

The curtain does not go up on the "Neil LaBute" play until playful multi-colored leaves start to flutter to the earth in the fall (October).

Duchovny will tread the boards at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in the "Big apple".

In "Noon", playwright Neil LaBute has woven an intriguing tale about a man named John Smith (Duchovny) who survives an office shooting and undergoes a dramatic spiritual and religious transformation.

At press time, there was no mention of any other actors associated with the project.

Sonoma Film Festival...Demi Moore feature "The Joneses" premieres!

Fans of Demi Moore - wife of punked heart-throb Ashton Kutcher - will be thrilled to hear that her new release premieres closing night of the Sonoma Film Festival (April 18th).

David Duchovny stars opposite Moore in "The Joneses".

In a nutshell, the plot focuses on a seemingly normal American couple who move to the suburbs.

When the film screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, first-time writer-director Derrick Borte's feature was described as an insightful foray into the wobbly undercurrents of a frenetic consumer culture with a dash of humour, warmth, and clever zesty fun.

X-Files...Fan Celebration at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. July 23rd!

They're back...

Fans have been waiting patiently in the wings for the X-Files movie to debut.

Now, the big screen version of the TV hit is about to be unveiled to an ecstatic fan base next week.

To honor the "X-Philes" (as enthusiasts are known) 20th Century Fox is hosting a Fan Celebration at the World Premiere screening of:

"THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE"

The studio is inviting X-Philes to gather on July 23rd at Grauman's Chinese in Hollywood (CA) in specially-built seats (along the Walk of Fame) where they can observe the "red-carpet" arrivals and participate in a special conference with the film’s popular stars "David Duchovny" and "Gillian Anderson".

In addition to the actors, Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz (who wore writer/producer hats for this project) will be on hand to field questions from filmgoers and the press.

Seating will be on a first-come first-serve basis.

Please note:
Special credentials will be distributed at 4:00 p.m. to the first 500 fans who show up.

The festivities will commence promptly at 6:00 p.m.

In addition, X-Philes around the globe will be able to experience the gala event live via a special Internet site from which they can direct questions in real-time to the film’s cast and filmmakers.

During the course of this "Entertainment Extravaganza" - a worldwide community of fans will have the opportunity to interact with over one hundred of the co-stars, guest stars, and behind-the-scenes personnel who toiled on X-Files - who have committed to appear.
