Mel Gibson...Argh! Enough is enough, folks!

When love turns ugly!

If  I flip the TV channel one more time, and stumble on another lunatic clip of Mel Gibson foaming at the mouth and caught ranting at the top-of-his-lungs on a tabloid-talk show, I'm going to rage on with my own angry self-styled tirade.

Enough is enough, folks!

Just watch out - or I'll huff and I'll puff - and I'll blow your house down!

Although I admit a slew of the vile remarks were shocking, it is not uncommon for divorcing couples, to call it quits amidst a similar end-round of nasty scenarios like those delivered up by Mel.

Especially, when the wounded twosome are bound at the hip with child, and the spoils of a multi-million-dollar fortune are at stake.

Notwithstanding, Mel's bitter outburst - though out-of-control - may have been warranted.

Out of context, who knows?

In addition, there's a nagging question lingering behind the origin of the tapes.

Were the incriminating recordings saved intentionally for future leverage?

Mickey Rourke said it best off-the-cuff on a busy NYC street the other night.

"Bitch!"

Talk about manipulative and conniving!

No wonder "that woman"  never made it to the altar.

Is this full-frontal attack on the mega-star her coup de grace?

Charlie Sheen...hides out in LA LA LAND! Awaits decision from Aspen brass...

Half a man stews in LA LA LAND!

Authorities in Aspen announced yesterday that a decision won't be made until February in respect to the formal filing of charges against actor Charlie Sheen for assault, menacing, and criminal mischief.

Understandably, the Hollywood bad boy - who was thrust into the spotlight on Christmas day for allegedly threatening his wife - returned home to LA LA LAND to sweat it out.

In a 911 tape released to the media Monday, a distraught woman (later identified as Brooke Sheen, Charlie's wife) expressed a concern to Law Enforcement Officers that she was "going to die".

Appparently, Sheen flew into a rage after his wife asked for a divorce.

At one juncture, it was allegeed that Sheen held a knife to her throat, and threatened that if she left him he would kill her.

The star of the hit TV Show - Two and a Half Men - denied the accusations to officers assigned to head up the investigation.

Sheen was charged with a misdemeanor battery count for knocking down a former girlfriend and causing bodily injury in the past which resulted in probation, a suspended sentence, and community service.
Consequently, legal experts have opined that if the recent incident results in formal charges being filed, there may not be too much wiggle you for Sheen next time out.

Sheen's prior conviction may not bode well for the TV actor if a new case is filed and set for trial.

A first offense may have been a foolish misadventure gone awry, but a second offense - some say - may hammer home to a Judge and Jury that the individual is prone to engage in domestic violence - and consequently - loved ones may be at risk if there isn't any meaningful intervention.

A Judge may decide that jail time is a necessary punishment to deter the violent conduct in the future, require anger management classes, or impose both with the specific aim of rectifying the emotional problems of the individual.

As I noted in a previous post earlier this week, Mr. Sheen's representative urged everyone not to jump to conclusions.

"Do not be misled by appearance," he cautioned.

Bottom line, if the case goes forward, Sheen will have his day in court.

Will the King have any clothes?

Mayweather vs. Marquez...big fight! Odds on favorite...

Marquez punches are right on the money!

Tonight, two fight greats, take each other on.

In one corner, Juan Manguel Marquez (Mexico)  chomps at the bit after 37 knock-outs in the ring.

In the other, Floyd Mayweather, Jr., growls confidently ready to stake his claim to his 7th undefeated fight.

To some critics, Marquez has the edge; after all, his opponent has not been in the ring for over twenty-one months.

Even still, quite a few seasoned ring-siders are inclined to plunk down their bets Mayweather's way.

Their reasoning is that because Marquez is packing a heavier load (a few pounds) his speed may have lost its edge (which may be his downfall).

Marquez laughs off the suggestion.

"I'm stronger. And, just as fast," he boasted to a sports reporter a few days ago.

Win or lose, he trots away (limps, some say) with 4 million bucks in his punchy little hand.

Not bad for a night's work, eh?

Both boxers are a curious breed.

Both thrill to the night life, apparently, and like to get down 'n dirty.

Marquez, for example, celebrated Mexican Independence Day at  Hooters!

The bimbo babes are crying out:

"Don't mess up his face."

Meanwhile, Mayweather is so hot to trot at the trendy stripper watering holes, that he has actually considered opening up his own prestigious "pussy" club for discerning men only!

Spearmint Rhino gets the nod for best striptease on the strip (well, just off the beaten track, a tad).

But, Sapphire is pretty hot too, according to the man with the golden fist, fancy footwork, and taste for classy tits & ass.

But, right now, the champ is focused on the task at hand, remaining the undefeated champ.

As for Marquez, well, he's a local hero in Mexico right now.

A victory tonight may be cause for a national holiday in his name south of the border, for raising up the image of  the Mexican Latino in the sport of champions.

May the best fighter win!

Big fist for pummeling!
